My name's David Gathercole, administrator, author and publisher of this audio book store. Here are my two daughters, Georgie 6 yrs and Holly 4 yrs old.
We thoroughly believe in the concept of education combined with two of our greater senses, sight and sound. We are based in Thailand and for the past seven years we've been striving to support and assist in education for people from different walks of life, from city dwellings to distant outback communities through our three school outlets and our intergrated on-line courses. With our combined knowledge and experience, the evolution of audiobooks unquestionabley offers us and our students vast resources from an educational standpoint. The opportunities for learning are literally limitless, and what an exciting reality concept this really is! About Class.
CLASS is not only a language school, it is a life style. To begin to understand and speak English equivalent to that of a native speaker, learning must go beyond conventional methods. Incorporating English into our lives as more than just a subject is very curtail in truly understanding it. With the right environment English can be learnt as a life style and not just as a language. CLASS uses the concept of natural learning as a base to re-invent the way things are done. By veering away from traditional standers to excite and inspire a new generation. CLASS provides an environment of natural learning that triumphs over the status quo. Students can feel and experience the freedom of communication. Progressing students to become more proud and confident in themselves. An accomplishment such as this can only be described as success.

Common Strands
AcademicExcellence. All schools seek to achieve the best academic standards for all students, appropriate to each student’s potential. The goal is to provide all students with the best opportunities to gain access to tertiary education based on teaching to the National Curriculum of England, Wales, America and the summative assessment pathways provided by GCSEs (and IGCSEs), A-levels and value-added tests. The schools believe that A-levels provide more flexibility and choice and, study the selected subjects to a greater depth, than other curricula available at this level. Teachers are highly qualified and experienced and are committed to holistic schooling.
Broad-based learning experience
All schools offer extensive after-school and weekend co-curricular programmes that aim to provide opportunities for participation and excellence in a wide range of pursuits from games, music, drama, and art to outdoor education, community service and hobbies. These activities are highly dependent on the commitment of teaching staff to run them. The objectives of these pursuits are, to provide students with access to a wide range of pursuits that: could become lifetime passions; expose students to the benefits of both fair play and team loyalty; are on the edge of students’ comfort zones whereby they develop resilience and loyalty to peers; opportunities to interact with their teachers outside the classroom. Through these pursuits, students are given a range of opportunities to develop leadership skills such as School Monitors/Prefects, House Captains, and team captains.
Teacher-pupil relationships
The foundation of what each school provides is the commitment, dedication and expertise of the teaching staff. There is a range of contexts in which these relationships are nurtured – Houses, extra-curricular activities, the classroom, the tutor-tutee relationship. The goal is to provide support, direction and role-modeling in all aspects of a pupil’s development.
Traditional framework
The schools aim to bring the best of CLASS traditions together with the best of current practice. Students are expected to interact with teachers and peers with courtesy and respect. Within this traditional framework, the schools are dynamic and constantly looking at ways to improve the quality of their educational offering and their relevance.
Values
CLASS School has demonstrated a willingness to lead the way in terms of bridging gaps with other religious traditions. The other schools have entered the ecumenical spirit of this approach, with each, in its unique and context-appropriate way, attempting to nurture understanding and cooperation between them. Consistent with the recognition of the spiritual dimension in human development, all schools seek to nurture a sense of virtue and morality in their students that is perhaps best summed up in the Golden Rule, to treat others as one would want to be treated.
